Visit the facility, find out what happened, what might be lurking, and how to put an end to it
An unsolved mistery
You're a disposable clone capable of being deployed in high-risk environments and missions. If you perish while on duty, they will print a copy of you. You have been assigned to adquire high value data from an abandoned facility, where the infamous ARXISIUM mineral is being extracted and studied. For years, there have been rumors of shady experiments going on at this facility, and with the recent radio silence coming from there, these have grown past the point of ignoring them.
Use your near-endless army of "yous" to enter the facility, find out what happened with the workers, the mineral, and the experiments. If things have gone awry, do your best to put an end to them.
Controls
- Movement: "WASD" keys
- Run: hold "Shift" or "Space" while moving
- Mouse cursor: point your light at stuff
- Mouse left button: swap light pointing modes (manual or automatic)
- Escape: Show settings menu, which uncludes volume sliders for Music and SFX, Full-screen mode toggling, and VSync toggling

The game aims to adhere to the jam's theme and wild cards as follows:
Theme: Repurposed
The player can upgrade their character's light as they advance
Wild card: World on cue
The misterious inhabitant of this facility reacts to the player's movement and position. If the player runs in their vicinity, they will go investigate. If they see the player, they will chase it. If they are alerted by the surveilance system, they will investigate as well.
The toxic environment also impacts the player by requiring them to use a time-limited oxygen system. The player's oxygen consumption will increase if they run. Good thing there are some refills around the facility...
Wild card: New year, new me
The player as a new version of themselves when defeated, being able to see their old corpses where they perished before.
